Creating an app with Blowfish Studio is very simple and requires only a few steps. After developing a site with your favorite CMS, Joomla, Wordpress, Magento 2, Prestashop or with your favorite language such as Java or Php you have to follow some steps.
Download the files
- Download the connection plugin for mobile devices (smartphone or tablet) for free. There are versions for Joomla, Wordpress, Magento 2, Prestashop and PHP. Install the plugin on your CMS and enable it.
- Download and install Blowfish Studio in the version you want, Windows 32 bit, Windows 64 bit.
Creating the app
- Use Blowfish Studio to customize the app layout, fonts, colors, icons, images, login/registration page and create the page and menu elements, using all the plugins you want. If you want, you can use the default layout.
- If you are a Java developer, you need to create some web services with dedicated URLs. Follow this link for a detailed documentation.
Test the app
- Test your solution for free directly on your p.c. in an emulated environment (using the Run emulated version feature) or
- Test the app on your device using the Run on device feature. After configuring your app with Blowfish Studio, this feature loads it on your smartphone and launches the app directly.
Registering the app
- After these steps, if you want to create an iOS app, you will need to create your own Apple certificates. Find detailed documentation at this link.
- Use the Deploy function of Blowfish Studio to upload the project to the Blowfish servers.
- After configuring the smartphone and/or tablet app and successfully registering the project, run the check plugin with Blowfish Studio to verify which plugins you need to purchase for the solution you have created.
Purchase and Publishing
- Order the app and plugins you are interested in on our Store.
- Download the binary files we provided to your PC.
- Upload the binary files to your store, configure all the required parameters or purchase our store management service.
